About the position

The Indirect Sourcing Manager at Chart Industries is responsible for developing and implementing a long-term category strategy aimed at maximizing savings, quality, and delivery. This remote position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to execute strategic sourcing activities and manage supplier relationships effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a long-term category strategy for indirect materials.
• Lead negotiations and supplier selection processes.
• Manage supplier relationships and stakeholder engagement.
• Create and execute a cost reduction action plan for indirect materials.
• Define and deploy the regional strategy for indirect materials.
• Establish category-focused working groups to develop a 3-year sourcing roadmap.
• Transition spend from non-preferred suppliers to drive cost savings.
• Collaborate with sourcing leaders and functional managers to improve supply chain efficiency.
• Implement best practices in sourcing category management.
• Facilitate collaboration with functional budget holders to meet supply chain performance indicators.
• Manage all commercial agreements with Tier 1 regional suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business.
• 7+ years of professional experience in Supply Chain, Engineering, Sourcing, or Operations management.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Extensive experience in developing and implementing MRO & FM services/material strategies in a global manufacturing environment.
• Experience working in a complex matrix organization across multiple geographical locations.
• Strong leadership capabilities and experience in leading a strategic procurement function.
• Strong influencing and negotiation skills with experience in high-dollar procurement agreements.
