About the position

The Category Manager for Luxury Handbags is responsible for the overall success of the category, managing multiple subcategories independently. This role involves driving key performance metrics, optimizing business strategies, and collaborating with various teams to enhance product visibility and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Drive GMV, conversion rate, average selling price/average order value, and Buyer & Seller satisfaction.
• Build a business plan, optimizing pricing, promotions, and inventory while improving product discoverability through merchandising, marketing, and advertising.
• Assist in leading vertical, horizontal, and strategy execution related to the categories and customers by working cross-functionally with product, marketing, deals, pricing, and seller teams.
• Drive client's onsite marketing and key event planning with cross-functional teams, focusing on important industry and retail moments, and clearly communicate objectives and requests in creative briefs.
• Deliver strategies, reporting, and results weekly to the Category Lead, while providing regular executive read-outs and presentation updates.

Requirements
