About the position

The Global Category Manager for Optical sales at Meta Reality Labs will lead the distribution strategy and sales performance growth for the upcoming portfolio of optical and health products in the Wearable category. This role involves cross-functional collaboration to ensure effective product launch and sales execution, focusing on enhancing sales conversion and achieving revenue goals for prescription products.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive alignment on the sales distribution strategy by analyzing existing portfolio performance and market trends.
• Create go-to-channel (GTC) strategy to drive product sales through customer behavior analysis and optimizing the customer journey.
• Ensure launch moment readiness by preparing sales teams and executing launch plans.
• Align and define Lifetime Goals for health and prescription products and their supporting budget.
• Establish and manage long lead partner sell-in for Optical & Health channels by building relationships and creating joint business plans.
• Develop and execute customer feedback management strategies to incorporate customer needs into product development.
• Partner with the In Market Wearable sales category manager to align on sales annual plan goals.
• Optimize the prescription smart glasses customer experience and drive product adoption through partnerships.
• Manage prescription data & analytics to uncover actionable insights for driving access and adoption.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on prescription wearer and channel needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in category performance management in the prescription optical industry.
• Experience managing launch moments with an analytical background for Prescription - Optical products.
• Experience with consumer research and using data to inform product and Go To Market strategies.
• Experience working with internal and external partners.
• Experience in conducting path to purchase and sales competitive analysis.
• Experience developing sales strategies and evaluating sales opportunities.
• Experience presenting, influencing, and persuading stakeholders.
