We are looking for a dynamic, take-charge Catering and Event Operations Manager to lead and coordinate sales and event operations at venues such as Park Silly Market, Real Salt Lake games at America First Stadium, and other high-profile events. This is a leadership role that requires strong management skills, the ability to oversee event staff, and the capability to adapt to changing schedules, including nights and weekends. This position is perfect for someone with a flexible schedule, such as those who might have other part-time roles (like ski instructors or seasonal workers), since our peak season is summer, and things slow down during winter months. Key Responsibilities include leading the planning and execution of events such as Real Salt Lake games, Park Silly Market, the Days of '47 Rodeo, and more. You will ensure all equipment and inventory are set up and ready for each event. Additionally, you will recruit, schedule, and manage event staff, ensuring roles are clearly defined and tasks are completed efficiently. On-site leadership and support during events will also be part of your responsibilities. You will oversee private catering events such as weddings, corporate events, and parties, which includes setup, serving, breakdown, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Managing logistics for event materials, including loading/unloading trailers, transporting equipment, and maintaining inventory of ice cream products and supplies will be essential. As the face of Roonies at events, you will engage with customers in a fun, positive manner to enhance their experience and drive sales.
