About the position
The Event Staffing Manager at Northern Fork Catering and Events is responsible for overseeing all event staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and managing performance. This hybrid role requires strong leadership and organizational skills to ensure the successful execution of various events across the Chicagoland area. The ideal candidate will have high-level management experience and the ability to manage large groups effectively while maintaining service standards.
Responsibilities
- Hire Event Staff
- Train Event Staff
- Schedule Event Staff
- Manage Event Staff
- Manage relationships with 3rd party staffing agencies
- Event staff HR
- Manage Event labor costs
- Manage large scale events
- On-site staff reviews and evaluations
- Monitor event staff performance
- Event staffing liaison at 2420 E Oakton
- Manage/Schedule event staff meetings
- Additional tasks as assigned
Requirements
- General knowledge of event production and execution
- High level management experience
- Project and Budget Management
- An ability to manage one's own schedule and work autonomously
- Must have a vehicle/ability to drive
