About the position

The Catering & Events Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving our catering and events business forward. This individual will manage all inbound requests while proactively pursuing outbound sales opportunities. We are looking for someone with a strong background in sales, specifically in the catering and restaurant industries. The ideal candidate will have a robust network of contacts and a proven track record of achieving ambitious sales goals. The goal for this role is to achieve $2M in annual sales. In this position, you will handle all inbound catering and event inquiries, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless booking process. You will also proactively seek out new business opportunities through outbound sales efforts, leveraging personal contacts and industry knowledge. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners will be crucial to fostering repeat business and referrals. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating and implementing effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets. Working closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, you will coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful event execution. Staying updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands will help you identify new sales opportunities. You will track sales metrics, prepare regular reports, and analyze performance to optimize sales strategies.
