About the position

The Catering Events Server position is a part-time, on-call freelance role focused on providing high-quality service at off-site catering events in New York City and surrounding areas. The role requires individuals with catering and bartending experience to assist in private dinners and cocktail parties, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to health and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service at off-site catering events.
• Assist with bartending duties as needed.
• Wash dishes, take out trash, and clean floors after events.
• Lift heavy items, up to 100 pounds, as required during events.
• Follow directions and maintain a positive attitude throughout the event.

Requirements

• Catering experience is required.
• Bartending experience is a plus.
• High-end restaurant experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 100 pounds).
• Must be willing to work hard and follow directions.
