Luke's Lobster is seeking a Catering Sales and Events Manager to join our team in New York, NY. This role is pivotal in maintaining and improving service levels that lead to increased customer satisfaction and repeat business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and developing relationships with potential clients through various methods such as cold calling, appointments, prospecting, and networking. As the main point of contact for all catering and event inquiries, the Catering Sales and Events Manager will ensure prompt and courteous responses to all prospective clients. In this position, you will coordinate and oversee catering and event sales and execution across the company. This includes planning events, menu selection, logistics, and staffing requirements. You will also be tasked with developing and maintaining a comprehensive catering marketing plan, training and developing the existing team on catering and event sales generation, and supervising the preparation, delivery, and setup of catering events. Communication with relevant departments and restaurants is essential to ensure proper servicing and execution of all catering events. Meeting or exceeding established revenue and solicitation goals is a key performance indicator for this role. The Catering Sales and Events Manager will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of sales, expenses, and customer feedback, as well as following up with all catering and event clients within 24 hours of event completion. This role requires a passion for food quality, presentation, and hospitality, along with a strong business acumen to drive sales and meet targets.
