About the position

The Catering Sales Event Manager at JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa is responsible for managing and executing all social events, ensuring a seamless experience for clients and guests. This role involves client meetings, vendor organization, and active communication with various teams to guarantee successful event execution while adhering to company policies and fostering teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute all social events at the resort.
  • Conduct client meetings to discuss event details and requirements.
  • Organize vendors and create Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
  • Communicate actively with banquet, culinary, and sales teams to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Adhere to all company, safety, and department policies and procedures.
  • Provide excellent guest service and anticipate guest needs to exceed expectations.
  • Build brand loyalty by embodying the JW Marriott Core Values.

Requirements

  • Mid-level experience in catering or event management.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various teams.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset.
