About the position

The Cath Lab Inventory Technician at HealthTrust Supply Chain is responsible for managing the inventory of supplies within the Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology (IR) departments. This role involves ordering, stocking, and maintaining inventory levels, as well as conducting physical inventories and ensuring compliance with established policies. The technician plays a crucial role in supporting the healthcare team by ensuring that necessary supplies are available and properly managed, contributing to the overall efficiency of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Order and stock all supplies within the Cath Lab/IR.
• Review and maintain Min/Max inventory levels and respond to emergency supply requests.
• Conduct physical inventories of all Point of Use (POU) and Non-POU areas according to the defined schedule.
• Receive, deliver, and put away all Cath Lab/IR supplies accurately and timely.
• Perform quality assurance checks on supplies as per approved policy.
• Evaluate and adjust Min/Max levels for storeroom stock daily.
• Count par level areas according to schedule and process returns appropriately.
• Ensure items have the appropriate Med Tag barcodes and are cross-referenced in Optiflex.
• Rotate stock to prevent expiration and perform expiration checks according to policy.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous inventory management experience is helpful.
• Some hospital supply experience preferred.
