About the position
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Allen, TX. This role involves providing direct patient care during cardiovascular procedures and working alongside the interventional team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during cardiovascular procedures including diagnostic and interventional cath lab cases.
- Work alongside the interventional team to assist in cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and other vascular procedures.
- Monitor patients' hemodynamics, maintain sterile field, and ensure all necessary equipment is prepared.
- Administer medications, monitor for complications, and ensure a smooth recovery for patients post-procedure.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional care in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Active TX or compact state RN license
- 2+ years of recent Cath Lab RN experience
- Certification in BLS and ACLS (AHA)
- Proficiency in circulating and monitoring during procedures
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well under pressure.
