About the position
The Cath Lab RN is responsible for providing quality nursing care in the Cath Lab and PACU, focusing on patient safety and infection control. This part-time, PRN position requires a team player with strong communication skills, capable of working in a fast-paced environment. The role involves assisting with basic patient care tasks and cross-training in other areas as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide general nursing activities in the Cath Lab and PACU.
- Incorporate age-specific safety and infection control measures into patient care.
- Assist office staff with basic patient care tasks.
- Cross-train in areas outside Cath Lab responsibilities.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse license to practice in Texas.
- Minimum 1 year of ICU, PACU, or Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred.
- Current knowledge of ECG monitoring.
- Moderate sedation skills and post-procedural recovery preferred.
- ACLS and BCLS certifications.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in Surgery.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
