About the position
As a Cath Lab RN, you will play a crucial role in assisting with cardiac catheterization procedures, including angioplasties and pacemaker implantation. This position requires close monitoring of patients, checking vital signs during procedures, and providing care both during and after the interventions.
Responsibilities
- Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures, including angioplasties and pacemaker implantation.
- Monitor patients closely during procedures by checking vital signs.
- Administer care to patients during and after cardiac procedures.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of recent experience in cardiac care nursing.
- Active nursing license or appropriate accreditation in one of the 50 US states.
- Additional certifications as may be requested by the specific facility/unit.
