The Supply Chain Manager position at Home Depot is designed to develop, implement, and monitor solutions that optimize the supply chain processes. The role requires coordination of cross-functional teams, seeking feedback, and tracking results to ensure that supply chain objectives are met. The manager will also support merchants during product line reviews, vendor negotiations, and merchandising initiatives, addressing any supply chain issues that arise. Furthermore, the position involves developing best practices and key learnings within the supply chain team, as well as managing and developing the supply chain team itself. The Supply Chain Manager will report directly to the CB Director of Supply Chain and will have 1-4 direct reports, indicating a leadership role within the organization. The position typically requires overnight travel of 5% to 20% of the time, and the working conditions are primarily in a comfortable indoor environment, with minimal physical demands.
