As an ASM for GT & MT CBG at 3M, you will play a pivotal role in implementing, supervising, and enhancing the frontline sales and distribution infrastructure within your designated territory. Your primary objective will be to achieve the business sales and distribution goals in a sustainable manner. This involves executing the Annual Business Plan for the assigned territory, channel, and outlets, ensuring that all sales targets are met effectively. You will be responsible for executing various programs, demand generation activities, and visibility and merchandising plans to achieve both sell-in and sell-out objectives across General Trade (GT) and Modern Trade (MT). In this role, you will monitor and improve distribution objectives, focusing on range availability and product placement with the support of the sales team. You will be accountable for the delivery of the Annual Business Plan, managing distributor and super stockiest operations, and utilizing data mining and analysis to inform planning programs. Regular updates and sharing of product-related facts will be essential to keep all stakeholders informed. You will also identify channel and product insights to design effective plans and execute critical programs with quality and timeliness. Your responsibilities will include maintaining relationships with top outlets, directly handling their business, and conducting intensive fieldwork to execute outlet-level plans. You will train the sales and merchandising team on sales calls and processes, ensuring adherence to planned journeys and discipline. Additionally, you will be responsible for settling all financial claims of outlets and distributors within stipulated time frames, ensuring proper ROI for distributors, and managing trade program budgets versus spends. Your role will require you to be in constant touch with the market to understand its realities and to find opportunities for growth.
