About the position

The position is responsible for supporting the efforts of the CCB Portfolio Management organization at Truist Financial Corporation. This includes a variety of tasks such as portfolio administration, ensuring system and data accuracy, reviewing clients' financial statement submissions, preparing and distributing reports, and providing project support. The role requires close collaboration with assigned Portfolio Managers, Associates, and Analysts to maintain accurate portfolio data within Truist systems, which include AFS Vision, Salesforce, nCino, Qlikview, MRA, and TOE. Key responsibilities involve processing and reviewing clients' required reporting submissions, which include financial statements, borrowing base documentation, financial covenants, and backlog reports. The position also entails preparing credit summaries and interacting directly with clients regarding their reporting submissions, addressing any questions or discrepancies that may arise. Additionally, the role provides administrative support in fulfilling client requests and managing offshoring of portfolio maintenance and servicing requests. The individual will support the CCB Portfolio Management organization in various aspects and projects, including regulatory, risk, or compliance-related initiatives. Monitoring Salesforce and Qlikview reporting, as well as other relevant systems, is essential to anticipate and plan workflow with a 90-day forward-looking view. This is crucial for prompt underwriting of new money, timely completion of reviews and renewals, and credit file certifications. The position also involves developing subject matter expertise and providing training to teammates as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with assigned Portfolio Managers, Associates, and Analysts to ensure accurate portfolio data is maintained within Truist systems.
  • Process and review clients' required reporting submissions including financial statements, borrowing base documentation, financial covenants and backlog reports.
  • Prepare credit summaries as applicable and interact directly with clients on reporting submissions related to questions and discrepancies.
  • Provide administrative support in the fulfillment of client requests and offshoring of portfolio maintenance/servicing requests.
  • Support the CCB Portfolio Management organization in all aspects and with all projects as needed, including regulatory, risk or compliance related projects.

Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent education in Accounting or Finance.
  • Knowledge of bank operating systems.
  • Thorough understanding of banking and business operations.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with a focus on Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal and professional written communication skills are critical.
  • Ability to prioritize workflow and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently or within a team environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • 2-4 years credit analyst or related work experience.
  • Proficiency with Truist bank operating systems inclusive of AFS Vision and other Commercial applications (i.e. MRA, Salesforce, nCino)
