About the position
The Adjunct Instructor for CPR First Aid at Tri-County Technical College is responsible for teaching American Heart Association (AHA) certified courses, including Heartsaver and Healthcare Provider BLS. This role is integral to the Corporate and Community College Education Division, focusing on providing quality education and training in CPR and First Aid to students. The position emphasizes a collaborative and supportive environment, contributing to the college's mission of transforming lives through education.
Responsibilities
- Teach AHA certified CPR and First Aid courses including infant, child, and adult CPR, AED, and Bloodborne Pathogens.
- Prepare instructional materials and ensure compliance with AHA guidelines.
- Assess student performance and provide feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and success.
Requirements
- Current instructor credentials from the American Heart Association (AHA) to instruct AHA courses.
- Ability to teach Heartsaver and Healthcare Provider BLS courses.
