About the position
The University of Alabama's College of Community Health Sciences is seeking a full-time clinical faculty member for the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology. This non-tenure track position is designed to support the department's growing needs and involves a comprehensive general obstetric and gynecologic practice within a community-based academic setting. The successful candidate will join a team of five other OB/Gyn faculty members, contributing to medical education, clinical research, and patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide full spectrum general obstetric and gynecologic practice.
- Engage in medical education and training of students and residents.
- Participate in clinical research and scholarly activities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary and inter-professional teams.
- Contribute to the mission of improving health in Alabama and the region.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Board-certified or an active candidate for certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Excellent clinical skills and enthusiasm for medical education.
- Interest in scholarly activity and clinical research.
