About the position

The Comprehensive Community Support Specialist (CCSS) at La Clinica de Familia Inc. is responsible for coordinating and providing essential services and resources to individuals and families to promote recovery, rehabilitation, and resiliency. This role focuses on enhancing parenting skills, behavior management, independent living, learning, socializing, and recreational activities. The CCSS Worker plays a vital role in empowering families and individuals by delivering quality support and guidance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide services and resources to individuals and families.
• Promote recovery, rehabilitation, and resiliency in clients.
• Address goals related to parenting skills, behavior management, and independent living.
• Facilitate learning, socializing, and recreational activities for clients.
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion in all interactions.
• Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with others.
• Familiarize with all personnel and company program policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Bachelor's Degree in a human service field from an accredited university and one year of relevant experience with the target population.
• Associate's degree with a minimum of two years of experience working with the target population.
• High school diploma or GED with a minimum of three years of experience working with the target population.
• Certification as a Peer or Family Specialist is preferred.
• Valid NM driver's license and current automobile insurance with a clean driving record.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
• Availability to work evening and weekend hours.
• Must comply with a criminal background check required to work with children.
