About the position
The CDL-A Dedicated Company Truck Driver position at U.S. Xpress offers an opportunity for drivers with at least 6 months of experience to earn a competitive salary while enjoying great home time. This role involves driving dedicated routes with a focus on delivering freight efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Drive a dedicated route to deliver freight safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road.
- Unloading and stop pay on some dedicated accounts as applicable.
- Maintain communication with dispatch and follow routing instructions.
Requirements
- Must have a valid Class A CDL license.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with dry van trailers.
- Familiarity with ELD (Electronic Logging Device) regulations.
