About the position
System Transport is seeking experienced CDL-A flatbed truck drivers for dedicated regional routes. The role involves transporting essential goods and materials, primarily glass and building materials, across the western region of America. Responsibilities
- Transport goods and materials using a flatbed truck on dedicated regional routes.
- Ensure safe and timely delivery of cargo to designated locations.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Tarp loads as required, which involves lifting a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice during loading and unloading.
Requirements
- Must have a valid Class A CDL.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- A safe driving record is required.
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years.
- 6+ months of driving experience required.
- Background check and clean drug test required.
- Clean Clearinghouse result required.
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform.
Nice-to-haves
- 1 year of truck driving experience preferred but not necessary.
