About the position

The position involves driving trucks over established routes to safely and efficiently deliver products and render services. The role includes loading and unloading products, delivering various items, informing customers about new products, and resolving customer complaints while complying with company policies and D.O.T. regulations.

Responsibilities

• Driving trucks over established routes to deliver products and services.
• Loading and unloading products at various locations within a specific geographic territory.
• Delivering perishable foods, tabletop items, special equipment, and frozen foods.
• Informing customers of new products and services, and issuing sales promotion materials.
• Resolving customer complaints and recording information on daily sales/delivery records.
• Obtaining customer signatures upon pickup and delivery.
• Complying with company policies and D.O.T. regulations.
• Performing other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) for tractor trailer operation.
• Must have a good driving record for the past 39 months.
• One or more years of tractor trailer/route delivery experience.
• Must be available to work with the demands of the department, including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
