About the position

Walpole, Inc. is seeking experienced CDL-A Tanker and Hazmat Truck Drivers to join their family-owned transportation business. The role offers stability and a steady workload, with opportunities for local, regional, and over-the-road driving. Drivers can earn up to $90,000+ per year, with various incentives and benefits, while operating a fleet of late-model Kenworth tractors and custom trailers.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all employer and customer on-site procedures.
• Maintain and adhere to all DOT and OSHA certifications as required to drive a CDL truck transporting Hazmat and Non-Hazardous materials.
• Demonstrate safe work and risk management practices; communicate, enforce, and report all safety and security issues or incidents.

Requirements

• Class A CDL license with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.
• Minimum of 12 months driving experience; 2 years preferred.
• Experience hauling sulphur, fuel, liquid propane, bulk liquid, or bulk chemical tanker is preferred but not required.
• Must pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
• Must pass a road test.
• No positive drug screens or refusals ever.
• No felony convictions involving a commercial vehicle in a lifetime.
• No non-CMV felony convictions within the last 5 years.
• No DUI/DWI within the last 10 years.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Haz-Mat materials is a plus.
• Willingness to train and learn new skills.
