About the position

The CDL-A Driver position involves transporting goods for a dedicated dollar store division, requiring drivers to unload freight. This is a permanent, high-paying role with full benefits, offering drivers the opportunity to be home weekly after a 5.5-day work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods to various locations including VA, NC, DC, PA, NJ, OH, and WV.
• Unload freight at delivery locations, handling touch freight.
• Complete 1 week of ride-along training with a current driver before being assigned a tractor.
• Maintain a safe driving record and adhere to all traffic regulations.

Requirements

• Must have at least 3 months of company driving experience within the past 3 years.
• No more than 3 minor moving violations within the past year.
• Can have 1 major ticket within the past 3 years, or 2 if both are over 1 year old.
• No more than 6 preventable accidents or moving violations in the last 2 years.
• No more than 1 preventable DOT reportable accident within the past year.
• Must have 6 months of safe driving after any safety termination to qualify.
• Felony convictions must be at least 3 years old for sale/possession, and 5 years for most others.
• No DUI within the past 3 years.
