About the position

Montgomery Transport is seeking experienced CDL-A Flatbed Truck Drivers to join their Freedom to Choose fleet. This position offers flexibility in pay options, allowing drivers to choose between percentage or cents-per-mile (CPM) compensation. The role provides steady freight, excellent support, and maximized home time, with an average annual salary of $70,000 to $75,000. Additionally, the company is introducing a special HAUL-iday Pay incentive during the holiday season to reward drivers for their hard work and commitment.

Responsibilities

• Drive flatbed trucks to transport various commodities across designated routes.
• Ensure the safe and timely delivery of freight while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle inspections.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members regarding load status and any issues that arise during transport.
• Participate in orientation and training programs as required.

Requirements

• Must have 1-year CDL-A OTR experience with at least 6-month flatbed experience.
• Flatbed experience must be within the past three years.
• No more than three moving violations or at-fault accidents combined in the past three years.
• No DUI in the past 10 years.
• Experience hauling steel coil is a plus, though not required.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with various types of flatbed loads.
• Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
