About the position
The CDL-A Flatbed Truck Driver position at Montgomery Transport offers experienced drivers the opportunity to choose their pay structure while providing steady freight and maximized home time. This role is part of the Freedom to Choose fleet, which emphasizes flexibility in pay options and a supportive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Transport various commodities using a flatbed truck.
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle inspections.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members.
- Maximize home time to ensure a better quality of life.
Requirements
- 1-year CDL-A OTR experience with at least 6-month flatbed experience.
- Flatbed experience must be in the past three years.
- No more than three moving violations or at-fault accidents combined in the past three years.
- No DUI in the past 10 years.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience hauling steel coil is a plus.
