Responsibilities
- Drive a Class A tractor-trailer to transport goods regionally.
- Ensure timely delivery and pick-up of freight while adhering to safety regulations.
- Utilize company-owned chassis and participate in drop/hook operations.
- Manage accessorial pay situations such as layovers and detention pay.
- Maintain communication with dispatch and report any issues during transport.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL license is required.
- Minimum of 15 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the last three years, or 24 months within the last four years.
- TWIC card preferred for port city locations.
