About the position
The position of CDL A LTL Team Driver at XPO involves operating tractor-trailer combinations over long distances, specifically for LTL freight between XPO facilities. This role requires existing teams of drivers who are capable of working closely together in a sleeper tractor on extended runs, typically following a 5 days on, 2 days off schedule. The drivers will be compensated at a rate of 91 cents per mile, split between the two drivers, with a weekly average gross income ranging from $1,730 to $1,923 per driver. Responsibilities
- Operate the vehicle safely within DOT regulations.
- Meet the medical standards of the U.S. Department of Transportation.
- Operate in all internal freight transportation work tools and required systems.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL with 2 years of driving experience for each team driver.
- Hazardous materials (hazmat), tank vehicle, and doubles/triples endorsements required.
- Safe driving record.
- Availability to work away from home in a five-day work week.
