CDL A OTR Team Company Driver

About the position

As an over-the-road CDL Team Driver, you will play a crucial role in the timely and safe transportation of goods across all 48 states. This position requires operating semi-trucks and trailers efficiently, with a focus on handling automatic transmission trailers in a no-freight touch scenario. Your experience in delivery driving and load/unload operations will be vital for executing routes seamlessly, while reporting to Dispatch and HR.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a semi-truck or trailer to transport goods and materials to designated locations
• Drop off at destination and then hook up without touching the freight
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and fill out checklists and reports
• Comply with all traffic laws, regulations, and safety guidelines
• Maintain accurate records of daily logs, permits, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or violations
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, HR, and team members

Requirements

• Valid CDL license
• Experience in commercial driving, particularly with semi-trucks and trailers
• Ability to operate automatic transmission trailers
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations
• Experience in delivery driving and load/unload operations

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with modern fleet vehicles such as Freightliner Cascadia, Western Star, or Volvo
• Familiarity with DOT regulations
