About the position
The CDL-A OTR Truck Driver Mentor position at C.R. England involves teaching apprentices how to safely and efficiently operate a truck while adhering to state and local laws and company policies. Mentors are compensated for all miles driven and can earn additional bonuses and incentives for their mentorship role.
Responsibilities
- Teach apprentices how to safely and efficiently drive a truck.
- Ensure compliance with state and local laws and C.R. England policies.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to new drivers during their training period.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of apprentices while on the road.
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license required.
- Minimum of 3 months of Class A CDL driving experience.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
