About the position

TransAm Trucking is seeking owner-operator truck drivers for CDL-A opportunities. This role allows drivers to operate as independent contractors, providing them with the freedom to manage their own schedules while enjoying competitive compensation and various driver rewards.

Responsibilities

• Drive refrigerated trucks to transport goods across various locations.
• Manage and maintain the truck and equipment as an independent contractor.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption.

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license.
• Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably with refrigerated transport.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with owner-operator trucking.
• Knowledge of refrigerated transport logistics.
• Customer service skills for dealing with clients.
