About the position

CRST The Transportation Solution Inc. is seeking an Experienced Driver to join our team for Over the Road driving. This position offers frequent home time and is designed for drivers who are looking for a rewarding career in the transportation industry. Our drivers are a vital part of our operations, and we are committed to ensuring they have the support and resources they need to succeed. In this role, you will be responsible for driving long distances, typically averaging 4000 miles a week to the truck. Our top 35% of drivers earn over $112K annually, with a competitive pay structure that includes $0.90 CPM, $30 for stop pay, and $30 for pick-up pay. We also offer extra pay for trips into Canada and a safety bonus to reward our drivers for maintaining high safety standards. Our equipment is well-maintained, and we primarily operate with automatic transmissions, ensuring a smooth driving experience. We understand the importance of home time for our drivers, and we strive to provide a schedule that allows for regular time at home. Additionally, we offer a generous sign-on bonus of up to $5K to help you get started with us. Our commitment to our drivers extends beyond just pay; we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, vision, and dental coverage, as well as life insurance and a 401K plan, all of which start after 60 days of employment. All employees must enroll in benefits within 60 days of hire, and all benefits provide nationwide coverage.

Responsibilities

• Drive Over the Road, covering long distances across North America.
• Maintain a safe driving record and adhere to all safety regulations.
• Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each trip.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members.
• Ensure the truck is well-maintained and report any issues promptly.
• Load and unload cargo as required, primarily through live load and unload processes.

Requirements

• Must have a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
• Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably in Over the Road driving.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience driving into Canada.
• Familiarity with automatic transmission trucks.
• Previous experience with live load and unload operations.
