Roehl Transport is seeking dedicated and skilled OTR CDL-A Truck Drivers to join our team. Our drivers enjoy the benefits of a dynamic pay program that rewards top performers with earnings exceeding $1,800 per week. With our Address-to-Address mileage pay, you are compensated for the miles you actually drive, ensuring that your hard work is recognized and rewarded. On average, our OTR CDL-A Truck Drivers earn around $1,400 per week, with the potential for top drivers to earn significantly more. We offer a variety of freight options including Dry Van, Refrigerated, Curtainside, and Flatbed, depending on your location and preferences. We understand the importance of work-life balance, which is why we provide flexible home time options. Our drivers typically are out for 11 to 14 days and then enjoy 3 days at home. For those who prefer to stay out longer, we offer the opportunity for more home time. Responsibilities
- Drive OTR (Over-the-Road) with a CDL-A license.
- Ensure safe and efficient transportation of freight.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle inspections.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and maintenance teams.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
- Manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules.
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license with at least one year of driving experience.
- Ability to operate various types of trucks including Dry Van, Refrigerated, Curtainside, and Flatbed.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with dispatch and customers.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with different types of freight transport.
- Familiarity with using smartphone apps for navigation and communication.
- Previous experience in a similar OTR driving role.
