About the position
Roehl Transport is seeking dedicated and skilled OTR CDL-A Truck Drivers to join our team. Our drivers enjoy the benefits of a dynamic pay program that rewards top performers with earnings exceeding $1,800 per week. We offer a variety of freight options including Dry Van, Refrigerated, Curtainside, and Flatbed, allowing drivers to choose the type of work that best suits their skills and preferences. With Roehl, you can expect to average $1,400 per week, with the potential for top drivers to earn significantly more. Our Address-to-Address mileage pay ensures that you are compensated for the miles you actually drive, making your earnings more transparent and fair. We understand the importance of work-life balance, which is why we provide flexible home time options. Drivers can expect to be out on the road for 11 to 14 days, followed by 3 days at home. For those who prefer to stay out longer, we offer the opportunity for more home time. Our fleet consists of new, modern equipment, and we pride ourselves on our commitment to driver support, including 24/7 maintenance assistance to minimize downtime. Responsibilities
- Drive OTR routes safely and efficiently
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and distances
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and maintenance teams
- Ensure cargo is secured and transported safely
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
- Stay updated on company policies and procedures
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license
- Minimum of one year of driving experience
- Ability to operate a variety of truck types including Dry Van, Refrigerated, Curtainside, and Flatbed
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with different types of freight
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs)
- Previous experience in a similar OTR driving role
