This position offers drivers the opportunity to work with consistent routes and schedules, primarily involving no-touch freight. Drivers can expect to be home 2-3 nights per week while earning an average annual salary of $60,000, with top performers earning up to $78,000. The role requires reliable transportation to the office, as trucks cannot be taken home, and involves evening shifts with varying start times.
Responsibilities
- Deliver freight to multiple locations within 300 miles of Tar Heel, NC.
- Maintain safe driving practices and ensure on-time deliveries.
- Operate automatic transmission trucks for local and over-the-road runs.
- Work evening shifts with start times between 15:00 - 23:00.
- Stay out over the road 2-3 times per week based on customer needs.
- Provide excellent customer service and uphold company integrity.
Requirements
- A valid CDL-A license is required.
- Minimum of 3 months of current driving experience is required.
- Not suitable for students, recent graduates, or trainees.
