The CDL-A Truck Driver position at Groom & Sons involves delivering goods and materials to designated locations while maintaining a strong customer service focus. Responsibilities

• Deliver goods and materials to designated locations
• Maintain a customer-focused approach and uphold company values
• Manage time and schedules efficiently for on-time deliveries
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively
• Ensure a clean driving record and practice safe driving habits
• Travel locally as required for deliveries and pick-ups
• Utilize previous building material experience if available
• Lift and carry items 25-50lbs consistently
• Be flexible to work overtime when needed
• Work effectively in an outdoor environment, adapting to varying temperatures and weather conditions
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Clean driving record and valid CDL Class - A driver's license
• 1+ year of forklift experience preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Willingness to travel locally
• Ability to lift up to climb up and down ladders, reach, bend, twist, kneel, lift up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Requires frequent standing and walking
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while remaining adaptable and flexible
• Strong interpersonal skills with a willingness to consistently provide superior customer service skills
