About the position
Dollar General is seeking Class A CDL Truck Drivers for regional routes that allow for weekly home time. This role involves connecting distribution centers with Dollar General stores across the country, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the company's commitment to service excellence.
Responsibilities
- Transport goods between distribution centers and Dollar General stores.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle inspections.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and store personnel.
- Adhere to scheduled routes and delivery times.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL license.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Minimum of 1 year of previous tractor/trailer driving experience.
