About the position
Classic Carriers is seeking CDL A Truck Drivers to join our family-owned and operated company. This position offers a competitive pay structure with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and various benefits starting after 30 days. The role involves driving 2019 or newer Freightliner Cascadia trucks across all 48 contiguous states, with a focus on providing a supportive and respectful work environment.
Responsibilities
- Drive 2019 or newer Freightliner Cascadia trucks across all 48 contiguous states.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to safety regulations.
- Maintain a satisfactory safety record and comply with company policies.
- Complete required documentation for each trip, including logs and reports.
- Participate in company-sponsored events such as Wreaths Across America and Peach Tour.
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A license.
- No DUI's in the last 7 years.
- No more than 5 jobs in the last 3 years.
- No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- No more than 1 minor accident in the last 3 years.
- No speeding tickets that are 15 miles over in the last 3 years.
- Pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and agility test.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with OTR (Over The Road) driving.
- Familiarity with automatic transmission trucks.
