About the position
The Heavy Haul Truck Driver position focuses on the safe and effective transportation of heavy excavation equipment across the South-East region of the United States. The role requires experience in oversize and over-dimensional hauling, ensuring proper load securement, and adhering to permitted routes while maintaining safe driving practices.
Responsibilities
- Transport and deliver heavy excavation equipment safely to various job sites.
- Ensure proper load securement and tie down of equipment.
- Follow permitted routes for oversize and over-dimensional hauling.
- Implement safe driving principles and practices during transportation.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL with air brake and manual transmission endorsements.
- Ability to pass DOT Physical.
- Ability to frequently reach, bend, walk, and climb.
- Lifting capability of up to 50-60 lbs.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with 4 axel 18 speed trucks and hydraulic RGN trailers.
