About the position
As an Armored Driver Guard at Loomis Armored US, LLC, you will play a crucial role in the safe and secure transportation of cash, coin, and valuables. This position requires you to work closely with your team to ensure that all pickups and deliveries are conducted efficiently and securely. You will be responsible for driving automatic armored vehicles along designated routes, servicing various customer locations, including ATMs and Smart Safes. Your duties will also include delivering customer change orders, picking up deposits, and loading and unloading vehicle cargo, which may include multiple bags and boxes of coins. You will need to count items, record them accurately, and sign for cargo items upon delivery. This role is essential in maintaining the flow of cash throughout financial institutions and retail businesses across the US, and it offers opportunities for career advancement within the company. Responsibilities
- Drive automatic armored vehicles and other vehicles on designated routes servicing customer locations
- Service ATMs and Smart Safes
- Service customer stops, including delivering customer change orders and picking up deposits
- Load/unload vehicle cargo including multiple bags and boxes of coins
- Count items, record, and sign for cargo items
- Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- At least a 3 year driving record
- Ability to obtain Medical Examiners Certificate via US Department of Transportation approved medical examiners
- A valid firearms permit or ability to pass applicable firearms requirements may be required
