About the position
Phalanx Logistics is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Class A CDL drivers for the Amazon Freight Partner program based in Spartanburg, SC. This role involves delivering goods using Amazon equipment and technology on daily local routes with no touch freight, ensuring drivers are home after each shift. The position offers consistent work with a minimum of 40 hours per week and competitive compensation starting at $24 per hour, along with benefits.
Responsibilities
- Deliver goods using Amazon equipment and technology on daily local routes.
- Ensure timely delivery of customer orders, large or small.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with the general public and understand highway traffic signs.
- Utilize handheld technology and smartphone applications for navigation and reporting.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Have a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL).
- At least 2 years of driving experience required.
- Must successfully pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and good DAC Report.
- Ability to effectively learn and operate a GPS.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
