About the position
The CDL Class A Driver is responsible for the safe and professional operation of commercial motor vehicles, delivering beverages to local stores and restaurants. This full-time position involves local routes primarily in the Imperial Valley, with potential trips to Needles. The role includes pre-trip and post-trip inspections, unloading products, and operating material handling equipment. Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles and company equipment.
- Deliver products to local customers in a courteous manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle.
- Unload and deliver products, ensuring secure handling.
- Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as electric pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 1+ years of Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent military driving experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
- Ability to lift products regularly from 25 to 50 pounds and up to 170 pounds.
