About the position
Maspeth Welding, a reputable steel subcontractor based in Queens, NY, is seeking a reliable and organized CDL Class B Driver with an Air Brakes Endorsement. The driver will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a minimum Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of 50,000 lbs, primarily traveling around the five boroughs of New York City, with occasional out-of-state trips. This full-time position requires early morning starts to accommodate construction hours.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a truck with a minimum GVW of 50,000 lbs.
- Travel around the five boroughs and occasionally out of state.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle.
Requirements
- Must have a CLEAN CDL Class-B License with Air Brakes Endorsement, Unrestricted.
- Minimum of 5 years of driving experience.
