About the position
EquipmentShare is seeking a CDL Delivery Driver for its rental facility in Leetsdale, PA. The role involves the safe and efficient delivery of equipment, products, and materials to customers, ensuring timely and professional service. The position operates Monday to Friday with potential for overtime and requires on-call availability during weekends in special circumstances.
Responsibilities
- Safely operates vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
- Transports loads safely and in a timely manner over required routes, obeying all traffic laws and observing safety regulations.
- Maneuvers truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas, following loading crew signals.
- Assists with loading and unloading goods and materials, using specialized equipment when necessary.
- Maintains signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and other required paperwork; delivers documentation to appropriate staff after completing delivery routes.
- Facilitates routine service on trucks, including checking oil, water, gasoline, and air; reports maintenance malfunctions to the Shipping Supervisor.
- Arranges trailers in shipping yards for optimum loading patterns.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must hold a commercial driver's license or chauffeur's license appropriate for the weight of the vehicle operated.
- Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state transportation regulations.
- Must pass DOT physical, as trucks driven are over 10k lbs.
- Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
