About the position

The Class A CDL Driver at HPC Industrial Services is responsible for the safe operation of various equipment, including Roll Off Trailers and Dry Vans, while managing customer environmental programs. This role involves transporting waste from customer facilities to disposal sites and serving as a primary contact for environmental and hazardous waste management. The position requires adherence to safety policies and procedures, as well as the operation of specialized equipment for industrial cleaning services.

Responsibilities

• Act as safety representative responsible for safety policies and procedures of both the company and the customer.
• Hands-on operation of vacuum equipment and hydroblasting equipment.
• Operate special equipment, such as Ultra High-Pressure pumps.
• Energize pumping equipment and operate specialized hydroblasting and chemical cleaning equipment, vacuum trucks, and cutting equipment.
• Examine surfaces cleaned to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on company equipment used on the job.
• Direct a crew of vacuum technicians as needed.
• Transport equipment and personnel to and from customer locations.
• Complete pre and post trip inspections, driver's logs, and comply with vehicle policy and DOT requirements.
• Load and unload hoses and vacuum truck at the dump site.
• Provide general maintenance in the field.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Class A CDL License required.
• Valid driver's license and compliance with company's driving policy.
• Experience operating a vacuum truck.
• Knowledgeable in the operation of emergency equipment, such as fire extinguishers.
• Language proficiency in English to comprehend safety training and respond to instructions.

Nice-to-haves

• HAZMAT and Tanker Endorsements preferred.
• Experience with Hydroblasting, Vacuum Trucks, Warehouse/Manufacturing, General Labor, Production, and Industrial Field experience.
