About the position

The CDL Truck Driver position involves delivering materials to various job sites, maintaining and inspecting trucks, and ensuring compliance with Department of Transportation regulations. Responsibilities

• Deliver and unload materials to job sites.
• Inspect and maintain trucks and equipment.
• Prepare DOT required logs as needed.
• Secure loads for transport.
• Complete daily equipment pre-inspections.
• Assist in maintaining good housekeeping in yard and warehouse.
• Report shortages and claims to supervisors.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in Class A CDL Driving.
• Mathematical abilities for basic measurements and calculations.
• Fluency in English (read, write, and speak).
• Strong reasoning ability to evaluate solutions and approaches.
• Alertness and awareness of surroundings.
• Active listening skills to understand and engage with others.
• Ability to select and use appropriate training methods and procedures.
• Skill in active learning for problem solving and decision making.
• Ability to determine necessary tools and equipment for tasks.
