About the position

The CDL Driver at Select Water Solutions is responsible for the safe operation of trucks with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds. This role involves transporting equipment to and from customer locations, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The driver will also be responsible for loading and unloading oilfield equipment, adhering to DOT regulations, and performing various tasks related to equipment handling and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight.
• Transport equipment to and from customer locations using medium duty flatbed trucks and semi tractors.
• Perform load-outs of equipment at the yard.
• Engage in repetitive heavy lifting as required.
• Rig up and rig down equipment, unloading and positioning it on location.
• Ensure proper strapping down of loads and compliance with weight, width, and height regulations.
• Maintain a DOT electronic log and paper Bill of Ladings.
• Ensure trucks have proper and current inspections and comply with all DOT requirements.

Requirements

• Must be over 21 years of age.
• Possess a valid driver's license and be eligible to drive a company vehicle according to insurance guidelines.
• Class A CDL driving experience is required; flatbed driving experience is preferred.
• Experience with strapping down loads is required.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a constantly changing environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal skills.
