About the position

The CDL Driver position involves operating a large capacity passenger bus to transport residents to various activities and destinations. Candidates will be expected to ensure the well-being of passengers during transit and maintain a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Drive a large capacity passenger bus to transport residents to activities and errands.
• Ensure the safety of all passengers during transit.
• Perform general maintenance of the vehicle.
• Maintain a valid state driver's license with a good driving record.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) is required.
• Minimum of one year successful experience operating a bus is required.
• Valid Class C CDL with no major driving violations for the past three years.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior experience working with seniors preferred.
• Current certification from the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction on bus driver training preferred.
• CPR training and certification may be required.
