About the position

The Assistant Service Representative position at Silver Eagle Beverages LLC is an entry-level role designed for individuals looking to start their career as a Class A CDL driver. This position involves assisting drivers in delivering products, ensuring compliance with corporate standards, and maintaining customer relations. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to handle heavy loads while adhering to safety regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Driver in delivering products sold to each account.
• Follow Corporate Sales and Merchandising Standards guidelines to ensure proper merchandising of products.
• Establish and maintain good customer service relations by ensuring orderly backrooms and shelves.
• Enforce Anheuser Busch equity agreement and supplier contract Code Date policies.
• Fulfill Driver's job responsibilities when assigned to run a route.
• Complete the checking truck in and out to ensure proper settlement and handle damaged products.
• Assist Driver in pre and post trip truck inspections.
• Clock in/out at designated time clock.
• Adhere to safe working/driving practices and report hazards to supervisor.
• Follow Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of general work experience required, with prior grocery store or consumer products experience preferred.
• Valid US Driver's license for a minimum of 1 year.
• Ability to maintain class A-CDL license and pallet jack certification.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and assertive skills.
• Driving record within MVR policy guidelines.
• Ability to operate a two or four wheel dolly.
• Physically able to lift cases up to 38 pounds and kegs weighing up to 161 pounds.
• Ability to push, pull, and handle fully loaded wheelers of up to 355 pounds.
• Must handle alcohol and work within T.A.B.C Guidelines.
