About the position
As a CDL Dump Truck Driver at G3 Construction Group, Inc., you will play a crucial role in the transportation of materials essential for construction projects. Your primary responsibility will be to operate a dump truck, ensuring that materials are loaded and transported safely and efficiently to designated locations. This position requires adherence to all safety regulations set forth by the company, as well as federal, state, and local laws. You will be expected to perform pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition and report any issues or malfunctions immediately. Additionally, you will be responsible for completing trip tickets for each load, maintaining accurate records of materials hauled, and submitting these tickets promptly to management. In this role, you will also assist your crew as needed, which may involve performing minor maintenance and repairs on the truck. The job is full-time, with a typical work schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Responsibilities
- Perform pre-trip inspections of the dump truck.
- Report any problems or malfunctions with the vehicle.
- Load and transport materials to assigned destinations safely and efficiently.
- Comply with all company, DOT, Federal, State, and local safety regulations.
- Complete trip tickets for each move and keep receipts of materials hauled.
- Turn in trip tickets promptly to management.
- Perform minor maintenance and repairs on the truck as needed.
- Assist crew members with tasks as required.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years verifiable work experience as a truck driver.
- Valid Florida CDL Driver's license - Class A required.
- Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Dump trailer experience preferred but not required.
- Willingness to undergo drug screening, background checks, and motor vehicle record checks.

- Experience with dump trailers is preferred but not mandatory.
