You will be expected to perform pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition and report any issues or malfunctions immediately. Additionally, you will be responsible for completing trip tickets for each load, maintaining accurate records of materials hauled, and submitting these tickets promptly to management. In this role, you will also assist your crew as needed, which may involve performing minor maintenance and repairs on the truck. The job is full-time, with a typical work schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Responsibilities

  • Perform pre-trip inspections of the dump truck.
  • Report any problems or malfunctions with the vehicle.

  • Comply with all company, DOT, Federal, State, and local safety regulations.
  • Complete trip tickets for each move and keep receipts of materials hauled.
  • Turn in trip tickets promptly to management.
  • Perform minor maintenance and repairs on the truck as needed.
  • Assist crew members with tasks as required.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years verifiable work experience as a truck driver.
  • Valid Florida CDL Driver's license - Class A required.
  • Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
  • Dump trailer experience preferred but not required.
  • Willingness to undergo drug screening, background checks, and motor vehicle record checks.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with dump trailers is preferred but not mandatory.
